Detectives are trying to find suspects in a pair of Binghamton home invasion incidents that happened at virtually the same time.

Some cash was reported taken in one of the episodes, which occurred late Thursday night on the city's South Side.

Authorities say in that incident, three men wearing dark clothing entered an apartment in a two-family house at 13 High Street. One of the intruders reportedly had a gun.

Police say the men knocked on the apartment door and pushed their way in when the resident opened it.

The man who lived in the apartment was not hurt.

The High Street home invasion happened almost simultaneously with an incident on Leroy Street on the West Side.

In that case, a boy sustained minor injuries when he was struck on the head with a gun. The two men who entered the unlocked apartment ran away.

Two men who live in the apartment were arrested after police found marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The men weren't there when the intruders showed up.
