Authorities say 52-year-old Droranette Parker of Moeller Street was pulled over by a Broome County sheriff's deputy. The traffic stop occurred shortly after Binghamton police received a report of a possibly intoxicated driver in the Chenango Street area.

Investigators say Parker's young daughter was a passenger in the vehicle. She was taken to a relative's home.

According to the sheriff's office, a chemical test indicated Parker's blood alcohol content was 0.19 percent.

Parker was charged with violating Leandra's Law for driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 in the vehicle. She also was charged with felony DWI as a second offense.

Parker was arraigned in Dickinson town court. She was ordered held in Broome County Jail without bail.
