The Binghamton Mets continued their good start to the 2014 season as they defeated the New Hampshire Fisher Cats in Manchester today 6-0 for their sixth win in their last seven games.  With today's victory the B-Mets move to 7-3 on the season.

In today's game starter Hansel Robles pitched five innings for Binghamton.  Robles allowed four hits and struck out six in his five inning stint.  He earns his first Double-A victory.  The B-Mets bullpen took control the rest of the way with Jon Velasquez closing things out in the ninth inning.

Offensively,  Binghamton was paced by Darrell Ceciliani who's single gives him a hitting streak now stretching to seven consecutive games.  Matt Clark was walked five times in the game...something a B-Met had not done since the 2008 season.

The B-Mets continue their road swing with three straight games in Portland versus the Sea Dogs tomorrow night through Wednesday evening.  All games begin at 6:00 PM with airtime at 5:45 PM with Tim Heiman on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
