Binghamton Man Dies in Old State Road Crash
A Binghamton man is dead following a crash on Old State Road in the Town of Dickinson at around 1 a.m. August 13.
Broome County Sheriff’s officials say 23 year old Kyle Wilcox was driving west when his Honda CRV left the road on a left-hand curve, veered back across both lanes and rolled over.
Authorities say Wilcox was trapped in the vehicle and died at the scene.
Old State Road was closed for about three and a half hours.
The investigation is continuing.
In addition to Broome Sheriff’s Deputies, fire and Emergency Medical Services crews from Five Mile Point Fire Department, Port Dickinson Fire Department, Broome Volunteer Ambulance and Superior Ambulance responded to the scene.
