The man accused of killing an 18 month old girl in December of 2013 at his Binghamton home is cleared of all charges.

A Broome County jury told Judge Joseph Cawley they could not reach a decision in the murder trial of 33 year old Brenden Barrett.  After the judge sent the panel back into deliberations the jury delivered the not guilty verdict two hours later.

Barrett was charged with murder, manslaughter, assault and endangering the welfare of a child after authorities responded to Bevier Street for a report of an unresponsive child.

Medical examiners said Camryn Davies had head injuries and several bruises.  Authorities said bleeding on the brain led to the baby’s death.

Barrett had been in a relationship with the child’s mother at the time.
