Binghamton Man Accused of Sending Sexual Messages to Girls
Vestal Police say they want to talk to anyone who has had contact with a Binghamton man after a 14 year old Vestal student said she had gotten sexually explicit messages on social network earlier this month.
Police say 38 year old Corbin Casciotti reportedly used the screen name of “marcusandrews7946.” Casciotti is charged with felony promoting a sexual performance by a child and felony disseminating indecent material to a minor.
The authorities say October 18th the Vestal Police School Resource Officer got the complaint from the girl. Police were able to obtain records associated with the reported screen name and identified Casciotti, who was arrested on October 25.
Detectives say they believe Casciotti has contacted several girls in recent months on various social networking site, probably using the “marcusandrews7946” screen name.
