The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team won its second straight game Saturday with a 76-69 victory over the UMass Lowell River Hawks at the Events Center.  It was just the second win for the Bearcats over UMass Lowell in nine meetings.  The River Hawks defeated Binghamton in Lowell on January 2nd 50-40.

Binghamton had four players score in double figures.  Yosef Yacob and Willie Rodriguez each netted 15 points.  Marlon Beck scored 14 points and Bobby Ahearn picked up 13 points.   The River Hawks were paced by Jahad Thomas who scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds before leaving with an apparent knee injury with 45 seconds left in the game.

With the win Binghamton is tied for sixth place in America East with UMass Lowell.  Both are 3-6. Right in front of the Bearcats are the Hartford Hawks. Hartford is 4-5 in the conference and will visit the Events Center Tuesday at 7 PM.  It's Olum's Pack the House Night.  Olum's is giving away free coupons for admission to the game.  Fans can get the coupons at Olum's and then redeem them at the Events Center Box Office for tickets to the game.
