The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team could not stop a bigger and more explosive Notre Dame team last night at Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center.  With a 41-23 lead at the half the Fighting Irish kept the heat on to roll by the Bearcats 82-39.

Notre Dame limited Binghamton to just 16 points in the second half.  Led by 6-10 forward Zach Auguste with 19 points and 7 rebounds the Fighting Irish dominated play inside.  Notre Dame had four players in double figures.  Binghamton's top scorer was 6-9 forward Nick Madray with 9 points with 7 of those coming in the first half.  Justin McFadden hit for 8 points while Yosef Yacob netted 7 points for BU.

The Bearcats depart South Bend this afternoon to travel to Providence where they meet the Friars Monday night at 9 PM with airtime at 8:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.

Binghamton returns home to host Hartwick at 7 PM on Wednesday night,  The Bearcats then head to the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut next weekend to meet Manhattan Saturday and Navy or Northeastern on Sunday.
