Six Cortland County residents are charged with felony drug possession and other counts, including endangering the welfare of a child after Cortland County Sheriff’s officials investigated a possible methamphetamine manufacturing operation in a small apartment on route 42 in Willet.

Officials say the occupants of the apartment tried to leave the scene before Deputies showed up with a search warrant but were stopped at the intersection with Route 26.

Officers say they found two children under the age of 16 living in the apartment but were at school when officers arrived to search the apartment.

Officials say 46 year old Sharyn Lienemann, 19 year old Victoria Woodrome, 21 year old Garrett Lackner, 24 year old Andrew Overbaugh and 22 year old Megan Woodrome, all off the Willet address and 47 year old Napolean Tetreault of Taylor were arrested in the action and sent to the Cortland County Jail.

Authorities say they found several spent ‘One Pot’ meth manufacturing items, lab equipment and about 12 ounces of a liquid containing methamphetamine.

Hazardous materials crews were called in to clean up the volatile scene.
