The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team returns to action with a home game   The Bearcats host the UMBC Retrievers in an America East conference game.  Coming into action tonight the Bearcats are 2-5 in the conference while the Retrievers are 1-6.

Binghamton is led in scoring by two of the premier freshmen in America East.  Imani Watkins is averaging 15.4 points per game while Jasmine Sina is notching 14.7 points per contest.  Watkins is fourth among conference scorers while Sina ranks seventh.

The Retrievers feature junior Capree Garner who averages 18.4 points a game which is second in the conference.  In overall meetings between the two schools the Bearcats hold a big advantage at 16-6 but lost both games to the Retrievers last year including a double-overtime 66-60 defeat at the Events Center.
