The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team is hoping to improve on last year's 5-11 America East record as they prepare for the 2015-16 season.  Binghamton earned a sixth seed in the conference's post-season playoffs and dropped a 62-57 battle at Stony Brook in a quarterfinal game to end the campaign.  The Bearcats went 6-26 overall last year.  BU was 4-4 at the Events Center and 1-7 on the road.

The America East men's basketball schedule was released last week. Binghamton opens conference play at home on Wednesday, January 6 at 7:00 p.m. against Stony Brook and will have its first conference road game at the University of New Hampshire on Saturday, January 9. The Bearcats host the rival Albany Great Danes on Monday, February 8 at 7 p.m. and will conclude the regular season with a home game against the Maine Black Bears on Saturday, February 27 in a 2:00 p.m. start.
