Both Binghamton University basketball teams are in action today (Saturday).  The Bearcat women are off to one of the best starts in program history at 5-0. It is the program's best start in the last 21 seasons.

Fairleigh Dickinson is 0-4 and coming off a loss against the Pitt Panthers. Binghamton leads the all-time series 3-2. The Bearcats return to the Events Center on Wednesday at 1 PM hosting St. Bonaventure.

The BU men are winners of two straight and face an always tough Army West Point team. With the Bearcats thrilling closing seconds victory at NJIT on Wednesday night the Bearcsts move to 2-3.  Sam Sessoms took charge in the second half and ended up with 33 points.

The Black Knights are 2-2 with wins over the Merchant Marine Academy and Fairleigh Dickinson with losses to Villanova and Air Force.  This marks the 13th time these teams have met with Army West Point leading in the series 9-3. Lonnie Grayson leads the Black Knights with a 10.5 points per game average.

The women's game tipoff has been moved to a 1 PM start.  Coverage begins at 12:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.  Air for the 4 PM men's game is 3:45 from the Events Center.

Following the men's home game the Bearcats wrestling team hosts ninth-ranked North Carolina State.  That is also at the Events Center and will begin after the changeover for wrestling is done.
