Bearcats Fall Despite Solid Effort
The Binghamton Bearcats battled back from a 36-24 deficit at halftime but could not overcome the hot shooting of Ryan Taylor and the Evansville Purple Aces held on to record a 66-61 victory over BU at the Ford Center this (Saturday) afternoon. Taylor tied for game-high honors with 27 points to key the Evansville offense.
Binghamton's J.C. Show matched Taylor point for point to finish with 27 points. Show made six of seven three-point shots and notched 17 points in the second half for the Bearcats. Overall the BU sharpshooter went 9-12 from the field.
