The Binghamton Bearcats men and women open their America East schedule Wednesday against the Stony Brook Seawolves.  The women play on Long Island in a special noon tip-off while the men host the Seawolves at the Events Center at 7:00 p.m.

Binghamton's women carry a 5-8 record into conference play.  The Bearcats face a Stony Brook team that is 8-5 .  They have won the last six meetings against BU.  The Seawolves are paced by standout freshman Ogechi Anyagaligbo who has won seven consecutive America East Rookie of the Week honors.  She is averaging 11.3 points per game and 10.5 rebounds per game...tops in America East.

Binghamton will look to counter Anyagaligbo with another standout in Alyssa James.  James, who sat out last year after transferring from Caldwell College, has been superb.

Heading into the America East opener she is averaging 17.9 points per game (third in the conference), 8.5 rebounds per game (third in the conference) and 3.1 blocks per game which is on top in the America East.
