It may be several weeks before investigators announce what caused the death of Casie Weese, the Glen Aubrey woman whose body was found after a four-day search.

Authorities Friday announced an autopsy had been performed at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton.

According to New York State Police, the autopsy "showed no obvious signs of trauma."

Toxicology tests are being conducted but the results aren't expected to be available for weeks.

The 37-year-old Weese had been reported missing Sunday after she and her husband had attended a party in Apalachin.

The woman's body was found Thursday afternoon near a fence that separates Routes 17 and 434 in Apalachin. The spot where her body was located is just west of the Broome-Tioga county line.
