Assemblyman Brindisi Launches Congressional Challenge
Congresswoman, Republican Claudia Tenney has a Democrat challenging her for her seat.
New York State Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi of Utica says the 22nd district needs an independent voice who is motivated by what the voters want.
Brindisi officially announced his campaign at a rally in Downtown Utica.
Brindisi latched on to calls by some in the district criticizing Tenney for not holding open Town Hall Meetings. Brindisi says he plans to rove the district holding town halls ever year he is in office.
Tenney dismissed Brindisi’s campaign launch calling him a “rubber stamp” for Governor Andrew Cuomo.
