Apartment Affordability Study Very Telling
A new report from the National Low Income Housing Coalition reveals the minimum income needed to rent a one bedroom or two bedroom apartment in every county in New York State. For Otsego County just over $26,000 is needed for a one bedroom unit and in Chenango along with Delaware Counties it’s just under $24,000. Two bedroom apartments need a minimum income of over $33,000 in Otsego County while in Chenango and Delaware Counties it’s just under $30,000.
