Another teacher strike may be looming in Pennsylvania.

Still without a contract, Montrose teachers are expected to return to work next week. They have been on strike since March 29, saying the district has not been willing to address the teacher’s concerns.

Now, the teachers in the Sayre Area School District say they may walk out if there is no movement in their contract talks. Those teachers have been without a contract for three years.

The teacher’s union has set an April 12 deadline for a contract agreement.

The union and district officials are expected to sit down to negotiations again April 7.
