The Endicott man accused in the drug overdose death of his five year old son is now accused of threatening two people with a knife.

Endicott Police say 45 year old Charles Burks Senior was arrested at 6:43 p.m. November 20 following a domestic dispute at a home on Roosevelt Avenue.

Burks is accused of pointing the knife at a 19 year old and a 21 year old.

He, along with their son’s mother, Jennifer Burks, had previously been accused of giving five year old Chace Burks a lethal dose of oxycodone in May.

The couple had also been accused of giving the child methadone in May of the previous year, causing lingering medical issues.

In the latest incident, Charles Burks is charged with menacing.  He was sent to the Broome county Jail on $10,000 bail.
