The Binghamton Black Bears took two out of three in Carolina including the game-winner by Nikita Ivashkin in overtime on Sunday. They return to the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena this weekend against Columbus.
It all starts with College Student Night on Friday night, April 1st. College students can get $5 tickets and you must show proof of your college ID.
Saturday, April 2nd is the big night with two games on the ice at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena. It all begins at 3:30 with the Heart Cup as the Binghamton Police take on the Binghamton Fire Department to benefit the American Heart Association.
Then at 7 p.m. with Autism Awareness Night and the Binghamton Black Bears will be wearing Autism Awareness Specialty Jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game to benefit the Broome OPWDD.
The three-day Black Bears weekend comes to an end on Sunday, April 3rd with a matinee game beginning at 3 p.m. There are only six games left in the regular season before the Commissioner's Cup Playoffs begin.
Three of them will be this weekend when the Columbus River Dragons come to town for the first time. I'll be doing Chuck-a-Puck between the 2nd and 3rd period every night and afternoon, so I hope to see you there, and LET'S GO BLACK BEARS!
