31 Suspects, 217 Count Indictment in Heroin Bust

The Tioga County Sheriff’s office and other area law enforcement agencies are still looking for a half dozen suspects wanted in connection with the distribution of heroin in the Finger Lakes Region.

31 people are to be charged in connection with “Operation Un-Wise”, many of them from Ithaca but others from Candor, Spencer, Cortland and New York City.

Police are still looking for Arthur Erskine of Ithaca, Zachary Kelly of the Bronx, Angelo LeGrande of Ithaca, Yvette King of Lansing, Nichole Spence of Ithaca and Branden Schmeltz of Spencer.

The action involving the Tioga County Sheriff’s Department, New York State Attorney General’s Office Organized Crime Task Force and New York State Police in coordination with more than a dozen federal, state and local law enforcement agencies resulted in the identification of 31 suspects and a 217 count indictment on felony charges of criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance.

Authorities are asking anyone with information on the location of the six people still being sought to contact local law enforcement.

24 year old Saylee Bisgrove of Ithaca

25 year old Destiny Boda of Ithaca

31 year old Myia Boda of Ithaca

31 year old Corey Bond of Ithaca

28 year old Katie Crapo of Odessa

26 year old Michael Dawson of Willseyville

40 year old Arthur Erskine of Ithaca

32 year old Erica Farrell of Candor,
