Authorities say 20-year-old Alex Crotsley was charged with second-degree attempted murder, a felony.

According to state police, Crotsley allegedly stabbed a man in the chest several times. Investigators say a knife was used in the attack, which followed an argument at 312 West Wendell Street.

Troopers were called to the residence around 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

The injured man was being treated at Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City. Police did not disclose his condition.

Crotsley was arraigned in Union town court and sent to Broome County Jail without bail.
