West Corners Forgery Suspect Sought

Broome County Sheriff’s investigators are trying to track down a suspected forger.

Officials responded to the Sunoco Express in West Corners September 17 where employees said a man passed a counterfeit $20 bill to the clerk.

The man is white, in his 30’s to 40’s with a mustache and goatee. He was wearing a green shirt, light colored jeans, a black hat.. turned around backwards and a long gold chain that hung down to his chest.

He left in what may have been a dark-colored sport utility vehicle.
