Wayne Highlands Teacher Charged With Invasion of Privacy
Pennsylvania State Police say a teacher in a northeastern school district is accused of taking illicit photos of female high school students’ breasts and their private parts under their skirts.
34 year old Wayne Highlands School District Spanish Teacher Gaspare Michola Gambino of Honesdale is charged with 14 counts of invasion of privacy.
State Police say the teacher is accused of taking photographs and videos of the girls in his classroom and other areas of the high school in Honesdale. Investigators say they found numerous photos on Gambino’s school iPad and it appears some of the photos were taken while he was seated at his desk.
Gambino is on administrative leave from the school district. He was arraigned on the misdemeanor counts and bail was set at $10,000.
State Police say the investigation continues and not all the victims have been identified. If parents think their child may be a victim, they are asked to call the Pennsylvania State Police at (570) 253-7126.
