Waverly Swap Shop Owner Charged With Grand Larceny

A Tioga County businessman is accused of bilking a customer by selling fake precious metal.

New York State Police say the owner of Sammy’s Swap shop in Waverly, 46 year old Samuel Kolesnik III of Waverly is accused of selling counterfeit gold coins and bars to a customer for $7,000 earlier this year.

Kolesnik is charged with felony grand larceny.

He was sent to the Tioga County Jail on $2,5000 bail.
