Water Issues in Binghamton and Endicott

There is a low pressure issue in the City of Binghamton on Gaylord Street from Bevier Street to Interstate 81, Queen Street, Whiting Street, Bigelow Street from Bevier to 81 and Bevier from Melcher to the City line due to maintenance work being done.

The project is scheduled to be complete at about 4 p.m. September 25.

Meanwhile, the Endicott Water District says all customers served by the department will have to boil any water to be used for consumption or cooking for at least another couple days even though a broken water main has been repaired.

Tests of the water have to come back clear of contaminates several times before the Boil Water Order is lifted.
