Delaware County Sheriff's officials say a Walton woman is accused of getting drugs with a forged prescription.  29 year old Lisa Regg is charged with felony criminal possession of a forged instrument and felony criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Authorities say the woman is accused of stealing the prescription from a care provider at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown earlier this year.

Investigators say she forged the prescription for hydrocodone and presented it at the CVS Pharmacy in Walton.

Cooperstown Police arrested Regg last month for the theft of the prescription. She was charged with petit larceny.  She was also charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance after a search of her purse turned up Vicodin tablets.

In addition to Delaware Sheriff's officials, investigators from the Cooperstown Village Police and New York State Department of Health Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement participated and had the cooperation of CVS Pharmacy officials.

Regg was sent to the Delaware County Jail on $3,000 bail.
