Utica Man Admits Sex Trafficing a Teen in Broome County

32 year old Edward Tildon pleaded guilty in Federal Court in Binghamton to sex trafficking of a child, admitting that he and others marketed a 16 year old, identified as M.L. to adult men in exchange for money and drugs.

Tilden admitted he and others aided and abetted each other and knowingly recruited, transported and maintained the girl in order to prostitute her.

Tilden and the others photographed the teen in sexually seductive poses, wearing only lingerie and posted the pictures on an internet classified advertising website offering her for sale for sex in exchange for money.

Nine people have been arrested in connection with the trafficking offenses.

Tilden faces 10 years to life in prison.
