Broome County Sheriff’s officials are looking for a third car that may have been involved in a deadly crash on State Route 369 a half mile north of Fenner Hill Road in Port Crane in the Town of Fenton November 1st that left two Norwich residents dead.

Authorities say a 2000 Acura Integra driven by 20 year old Anthony Stroman of Binghamton was driving south at around 7:55 p.m. and swerved into the northbound lane into the path of a Chevrolet Tahoe sport utility vehicle driven by 48 year old John Potter of Port Crane, hitting the second vehicle head-on.

Two passengers in Stroman’s car, 17 year old Kristen Crandall and 37 year old Corey Jonesl died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.

Another passenger, 37 year old Kelly Crandall, also of Norwich, suffered serious injuries.

Kristin Crandall and Jones were on the passenger side of the car.

Stroman and Kelly Crandall are listed in critical condition.

Potter was not hurt.

Investigators say there are indications a third vehicle was involved and are looking for the driver of a brown-colored Buick that left the scene before emergency crews arrived.

The car had the newer blue and gold, New York State license plates.
