Investigators say a man accused of shooting three people and wounding himself at a Downtown Binghamton business Friday, February 17 had reportedly been attacked by two of those wounded in the shooting.

City Police say 20 year old Fuquan Campbell of Binghamton is accused of firing several shots at the Yellow Deli shortly after 2:30 p.m. He is charged with three felony counts of assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

22 year old Shamel Hunter and 28 year old Muhammed Wesley are charged with misdemeanor assault.

The Broome County District Attorney’s Office shows Wesley is on parole for drug possession and Campbell had earlier been charged with felony assault in September of 2015 in connection with a stabbing on Robinson Street when he was 17 years old.  He was charged as a youthful offender.
