Two Town of Union residents are accused of drug possession following a search January 9 of a residence on Barton Avenue. 

New York State Police along with the Vestal and Endicott police say 212 packets of heroin, 7 grams of cocaine, marijuana, a loaded .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol and an unloaded .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol along with ammunition, a stamp to identify ‘brands’ of heroin during packaging, scales, over 1,000 glassine envelopes, cutting agents, grinders and measuring spoons were seized. 

28 year old Troy McIver is charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful possession of marijuana.

22 year old Dontay Stephenson is charged with two counts each of criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally using drug paraphernalia, criminal possession of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child.

Both men were sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.

Officials say the investigation is continuing and further charges and arrests are pending.
