Thousands of area youngsters will be out tomorrow night trick or treating for Halloween.  The number of participants varies year to year in each neighborhood.  There is still a chance of showers tomorrow and tomorrow night and that may hold down the turnout but temperatures are expected to be in the upper 40's by late afternoon and evening so that means there won't be any snow to worry about.

Some of the most popular Halloween costumes are expected to be Big Bird, Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama, Honey Boo Boo and Zombies.  Questions arise every year...what age is appropriate to go trick or treating ?  Generally, residents who are approached by those out trick or treating react best to the little kids escorted by Mom and Dad who are in costume, too.

What is your favorite Halloween treat ?  My favorite....Three Musketeers !  Others at the top of the list include Kit Kat Bars, Milky Way Bars and M & M's !   Candy Corn is at the top of the list, too.

As always safety is the biggest concern.  Halloween and trick or treating is supposed to be fun.  Drivers are reminded that the little ghosts and goblins often have costumes and masks that restrict their vision and with wet leaves on the streets stopping quickly could prove difficult.  Have a safe and fun Halloween !
