Town of Maine Manslaughter Sentenced

A Town of Maine man is to spend 20 years in prison and five years on probation for killing his girlfriend in December of 2014.

33 year old Michael Fiocco pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the strangling death of 34 year old Shannon Laskaris in their mobile home following a long history of domestic dispute incidents reported by both parties.

He had originally been charged with murder.

Fiocco himself placed the call for an ambulance and led authorities to a back bedroom where responders found Laskaris’ body.
