Tioga Republicans To Choose DA Candidate

Registered Republicans in Tioga County will be able to vote in Tuesday's primary to decide the party's nominee for district attorney.

Irene Gravin, Adam Schumacher and Kirk Martin are seeking the GOP nomination.

The winner will face Democratic candidate Frederick Luther in the November general election.

Polls in the Tioga County primary election will be open Tuesday from noon to 9 p.m. Only registered Republican voters will be able to participate in the primary.

Graven has been serving as acting district attorney since the departure of Gerald Keene, who was elected county judge last November.
