Tioga County Murder Suspect is Free on Bail

A Tioga County man, charged with second degree murder for the stabbing death of his companion, is free on bail. 

62 year old Douglas Every of the Town of Tioga was accused of stabbing 39 year old Milton Jump to death at their home on Thorn Hollow Road in the Town of Tioga on October 23rd following an argument. 

Every posted a $225,000 bail last month and maintains his innocence.

Every is expected to appear before a grand jury in the next few months.

If convicted, the Tioga County man could face up to 25 years to life in prison.
