Tioga County Man Charged After Domestic Dispute

A Newark Valley man was arrested following a reported domestic disturbance.

Authorities say 40-year-old Wayne McDougal of West Creek Road was charged with unlawful imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a child. He also was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing.

According to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office, McDougal was arrested Wednesday.

McDougal was arraigned in Newark Valley town court. He was sent to Tioga County Jail on $20,000 bail.

McDougal is scheduled to appear in town court on December 19.
