Tioga County Man Charged After Disturbance

A 24-year-old village of Spencer man was sent to Tioga County Jail following a disturbance at his residence.

Authorities say Jesey Smith of Liberty Street was charged with assault and unlawful imprisonment. He also faces counts of criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and possession of a hypodermic instrument.

According to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office, Smith was arraigned in Spencer town court. He was ordered held on $20,000 bail.
