The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, “PennDOT”, says progress has been moving forward quickly on road projects in Susquehanna County.  PennDOT Susquehanna County Manger, Bob Thorne was on hand for a roadside news conference and said work is nearing completion on a 15 mile stretch of State Route 706.

Thorne predicts that project should be done in the next two to three weeks with three major projects expected to be done by the end of August.

Projects in Susquehanna County weigh in at roughly $14.5 million.
