Stuck Motorist in Conklin Charged with DWI

A Conklin man is being charged with drunk driving and other counts.

Broome County Sheriff’s Deputies say they found his vehicle stuck in a ditch after it ran off Conklin Road near Schnurbusch Park at around 3:30 a.m. April 5.

42 year old Jason Demoney is also charged with failure to use a designated lane and having an open container of alcohol in his vehicle.

He’s been ordered to appear in Conklin Town Court at a later date.
