Shooting Victim Dies

A 19 year-old shooting victim has died from the gunshot wound he received over the weekend.  Binghamton Police say Scott A. Wright died at approximately 11 PM Friday after a disturbance outside the Town and Country Apartments on Roberts Street in Binghamton.  Police have accused Andre Lee of Binghamton with shooting Wright.

Authorities say the 21 year-old Lee was taken into custody Saturday morning after he was found hiding in an attic crawl space at a Griswold Street home.  Lee is also accused of injuring another 19 year-old man by hitting him in the head with a glass bottle.

Lee has been charged with Murder in the 2nd Degree, Assault and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.  Police also charged 21-year-old Tichelle Bethea of Binghamton with hindering prosecution.
