A Sherburne couple is charged with endangering the welfare of a child after an eight year old was seen trying to get into her locked home after getting off a school bus.

35 year old Jacqueline Fiasco and 30 year old James Palmer were arrested when they arrived home a couple hours after a neighbor notified authorities about the child with no adult supervision.

During that time, the child was cared for by Chenango county Child Protective Services.

Chenango County Sheriff’s officials identified Fiasco as a parent and Palmer as a guardian.

The pair was sent to the Chenango County Jail and ordered to appear in Billage of Sherburne Court at a later date.
