Football in Section 4's Class B in 2016 may be as good as it gets anywhere in New York State.  Under recently announced classification changes due to enrollment shifts Maine-Endwell drops from Class A to B.  Chenango Forks moves up from Class C to B.  So now powerhouses Chenango Forks and Maine-Endwell join Waverly who won the Section 4 B title last season.

M-E and Chenango Forks rekindled their rivalry the past two seasons with the Spartans winning both encounters.  But, those games were played in the regular season with Chenango Forks competing in Class C and the Spartans in Class A.  Now, one of those two could be left sitting on the sideline after the Section 4 championship is played.  Add Waverly to the mix plus Owego, Chenango Valley, Susquehanna Valley and Windsor and what was already an outstanding Class B in Section 4 becomes an awesome Class B.
