Cortland County Sheriff’s officials are looking for suspects after an abandoned methamphetamine laboratory was uncovered by workers at a Cortlandville trailer park while cleaning out a vacant mobile home.

Deputies were called when the workers say they found suspicious items in the trailer.

Officials say the Sheriff’s Department determined the items found at the Penguin Trailer Park on Kingsley Avenue were two ‘One-Pot’ meth manufacturing items and also found other lab equipment.

Hazardous materials teams were called in to clean up the site.

Investigators say they continue to follow up on leads.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Cortland County Sheriff’s Department of Criminal Investigation Division at (607) 758-6151.
