Ponies Continue Road Trip

The Binghamton Rumble Ponies continue their road trip with the first of three straight games in Erie tonight at 7:05 PM (6:50 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  The Seawolves are the Detroit Tigers Double-A affiliate and are 59-60…three games out of first place in the Eastern League’s Western Division.  The Rumble Ponies are 68-49 and nine games behind first place Trenton in the Eastern Division.

Tommy Milone makes the start for the Rumble Ponies.  This is his fourth start and he has yet to get a decision. He posts an ERa of 3.38.  A.J. Ladwig makes his 18th start for Erie.  He is 7-4 with a 4.58 ERA.

Binghamton will attempt to rekindle its offense after being shutout in Akron the last two games.  The Rumble Ponies have now lost three in a row.  Following the trio of games in Erie Binghamton returns home on Friday night to host the Portland Sea Dogs in the first of two consecutive doubleheaders.
