Binghamton Rumble Ponies' fans get the chance to see two for the price of one today as the Ponies host the Portland Sea Dogs in a doubleheader beginning at 5:35 (air at 5:20 PM on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  Last night the Sea Dogs edged Binghamton 3-2.  The Sea Dogs scored two runs in the seventh inning to take the lead and subsequently the game.  In overall series meetings thus far each team has won nine games.

Heading into today's twinbill Binghamton is 28-40 in the second half of the season while Portland is 30-34.  In today's first game Portland is scheduled to start the Eastern League's ERA leader in Daniel McGrath.  His 1.61 ERA is the lowest in the league.  Countering him is Tony Dibrell for the Rumble Ponies.  He is 0-7 with an ERA of 9.37.

In the nightcap Yeizo makes his first Double-A start for the Rumble Ponies.  Matthew Gorst at 2-6 with an ERA of 4.64 starts for Portland.  The series continues with knuckleballer Mickey Jannis scheduled to make the start for Binghamton tomorrow night.
