Polkapalooza Returns to Tioga Downs Saturday

Polkapaloza II is set for Saturday, April11 at Tioga Downs.  Four polka bands will perform from Noon - 8 p.m.  The first group to perform Saturday will be Joe Stanky and the Cadets.  They will play on the Coasters Stage from 12-2.  The group has been together for over 30 years and has performed all over the nation.

From 2-4 PM Fritz's Polka Band will be on the main stage. They were inducted into the Syracuse Area Music Hall of Fame in 2010.  From 4-6 PM Jude's Polka Jets II are scheduled on the Coasters Stage.  They feature German style polka music and are from nearby Forest City, Pa.  Then from 6-8 PM John Stevens Doubleshot Band performs on the Main Stage.  They were formed in 1995 and have released 18 CD's.

WNBF's Barb Mack will emcee the 4-8 PM portion of Polkapalooza II.  Barb's polka show is heard every Sunday morning from 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
