Pennsylvania Man Holds Up a Convenience Store With Fruit
Strange crimes are not exclusive to the Southern Tier of New York. Some pretty odd things move across the news wire all over the country, including in the southern part of Pennsylvania.
The Associated Press reports police in the Philadelphia area have reported a man entered a small grocery store in the East Parkside Neighborhood September 16 and is seen on surveillance video swiping a banana from the counter near the cash register, sticking it the pocket of his sweatshirt and pointing toward the cash year.
After the man robbed the store of money and cigarettes with the tropical fruit, he is seen making his getaway on a bicycle.
