Pennsylvania Man Charged In Nichols Theft

A Pennsylvania man has been arrested in connection with the reported theft of money from a wallet in Tioga County.

Authorities say 75-year-old Nester Holbert of Rome was accused of stealing $70 that was in a wallet he found on the floor at Tioga Downs Casino in Nichols.

According to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office, Holbert was charged with petit larceny.

Holbert was ordered to appear in Nichols town court on June 2.
