Oxford Death Now Called a Homicide

Authorities in Chenango County are now classifying a suspicious death in Oxford a homicide.

58 year old David Green was found dead in his home on Charles Kelly Road 2:55 p.m. September 26.

Authorities say they are following up on leads and continue to investigate in what they describe as the quiet, mainly seasonal lake-side community.

Officials said more information may be available soon.

Police are still not commenting on how Green died but say it appears Green was murdered in his home between Friday, September 23 and the evening of Saturday, September 24.
