A planned electrical system upgrade could interrupt some departments at the Owego Town Hall early next week.

According to town supervisor Donald Castellucci, power to the building on Route 434 in Apalachin is scheduled to be turned off for two hours next Monday afternoon.

The plan calls for electricity to be interrupted from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Monday to permit installation of electrical equipment.

Castellucci says some departments in the Owego Town Hall may be unable to conduct normal business while the work is in progress.
